Power Supply For High Power Induction Heating

The STATIPOWER® HSPS solid state transistorized Heat Station Power Supply is a self-contained system for hardening, tempering and other induction heating applications. A wide variety of single-turn and other low impedance heating coils can be properly matched with built-in load tuning capacitors and a multi-tap output isolation transformer.

Unitized Design For Stand-Alone Operation

Just connect three phase 460 V input power, cooling water and heating coil and you're ready to begin heating. The HSPS is designed to fit in the same space as a standard heat station. Vertical scanners, automatic in-line machines, and stand alone fixtures can all benefit from this unique approach. Complete stand alone control and monitoring includes: Heat level control with 10 turn lockable dial, and annunciator lights to monitor all operating parameters.

Remote Or Computer Controlled Operation

Remote control from a potentiometer or analog input can be accomplished by connection to the user interface provided. Heat time can be controlled from a simple foot switch, machine control relay or PLC. Heat level can be controlled by a simple remote potentiometer, an optional 4-20 mA process control signal or an analog 0-10 V signal from a PLC. An optional RS-232/485 interface is available for remote computer monitoring, data logging and control.
